PowerPoint presentations will be graded using a rubric.
Human Body Systems Rubric
Body Systems Project Evaluation - The project will be evaluated using the following criteria:
4 - Exceeds Standard
Thorough description of how the system functions
At least five pictures of the body system
Exceeds Process Requirements
All group members participate in the class presentation
At least eight slides in the PowerPoint presentation
Title slide with names of team members creatively conveys topic
Bibliography with at least five sources
Text, graphics, and transitions communicate and compliment information
Storyboard completed prior to computer creation
Presentation contains introduction, body, and conclusion
Correct punctuation, complete sentences, grammar and spelling
Demonstrated complete understanding of presented material
Information properly labeled for further understanding
Presentation well prepared from beginning to end
Works well with others and assumes responsibilities. Motivates others to do their best.
Communicates ideas with enthusiasm, proper voice projection, appropriate language, and clear delivery
3 - Meets Standard
Good description of how the system functions

Meets Process Requirements

Communicates ideas with proper voice projection, adequate preparation, and some enthusiasm
2 - Below Standard

Less than four pictures of the body system
75% of Process Requirements
Only one group member presents the class presentation
Less than six slides in the PowerPoint presentation

Bibliography with less than five sources
Text and graphics mostly fit with information
Storyboard partly completed prior to computer creation
Somewhat correct punctuation, complete sentences, grammar and spelling
Demonstrated some understanding of presented material
Some labels on information
Used some original artwork, graphics, sounds etc.
Presentation showed evidence of some preparation
Works fairly well with others most of the time
Some difficulty communicating ideas due to lack of preparation or incomplete work
1 - Significantly Below Standard

At least 50% of Process Requirements
No group members participate in the class presentation
Less than six slides in the PowerPoint presentation
